From 2025 PIRAS Motorsport became a reality, with engineering and production teams based in Italy & Driving Experiences based in Gran Canaria.
As our engineering team grows and refines, we are expanding our product range, with a particular focus on engine AirBox Intake kits for cars from a variety of brands. We will continue to develop aerodynamic body parts and other performance enhancing parts, based on our analysis of each platform we work on, allowing you to extract the maximum performance from your vehicle in full safety!!
About Us - Adriano James Piras
Almost born in a sports car speeding down California highways towards Stanford hospital, I have been a car enthusiast for as long as I can remember. My first approach with diving occurred at the age of twelve on dirt roads and opened a new dimension that I am still living in today.
My Experience
After taking a BA in Economics and working at Alfa Romeo in global sales, then in corporate consulting, I decided to risk everything and set out to find my path as a rally car driver. With fewer sponsors than needed, I still managed to race in various Italian and European races, up to the Rally of Sanremo 2007, where I won all GT categories driving a Porsche Cayman Rally GT car.
From there, I was invited in Prodrive to join as works driver in the WRC-2 championship driving Subaru, as they would have covered half the costs, but I didn’t reach my side of the financial budget.
I continued driving in both rally and circuit cars mainly for development, working with Bilstein and many other brands in tuning suspension and whole car development, that was also carried out in my own avantgarde tuning workshop based in Milan, called AJPerformance.
I spent the last 12 years in general management of corporate engineering companies, working with the most prestigious OEM's on the development of road, race and few-off cars.
