Based upon our first-hand “GR” experience gained thru the development of the GR Yaris hood vents kits, we set out to engineer a unique hood vent kit that could complement the GR Corolla “Core” version with better front-end aerodynamics and cooling.
This kit consists of three (3) separate parts: Left vent, Right vent & Center vent: while the principle of function of the lateral vents concurs greatly to reduce front end lift, the center vent is strategically positioned to provide the best possible hot air extraction from the radiator package. The results translate in:
- Reduces Engine Bay Temperatures while keeping Oil Temperatures down by over >-10°C cooler (especially noticeable when pushing the car hard on track!!)
- Increases Front End Grip, by extracting aerodynamic pressure from under the hood and transmission tunnel, to over the top of the car.
Hood vents are essential for anyone that lives in hot climates or is driving his/her GR Corolla to its full potential. This kit reduces the under-hood temperatures, extending both the engine and ancillary component's life.
Chances of experiencing the dreaded LSPI engine failures, that are spiked by very hot oil temperatures, are also reduced.
RAIN: this kit has been extensively tested on over 100 GR Yaris over hundreds of thousands of kilometres, tested on various GR Corolla’s, and we confirm that no issues from rain or water have been encountered. For this reason, we decided not to provide rain covers, as the impact on the kit’s function would be too great. Lesser kits, that position vents on top of the engine, have issues with flooding the coil packs, but we have engineered the product to OEM levels. Fuse box and all other electrical connectors are waterproof from factory.

- Mesh Grille (Aluminium, black)
- ECU Harness Protection Lining
- Installation Template
INSTALLATION NOTES: the installation of this kit requires cutting both outer and inner front hood skins (Alu sheets), then bonding to the hood with car body shop structural bonding adhesive. The mesh grille is bonded to the outer hood skin, from inside the hood.
Installation instructions and blueprints are provided.
PAINTING: while painting is possible, the vents are delivered in Satin Black, UV resistant coating.
INSTALLATION DIFFICULTY: difficult, requires a professional body shop.

In 2025 we are here to follow on the next step, with Driving Experiences in Gran Canaria.
At the end of 2013 I sold my tuning company and moved to Turin, where I worked for 11 years as Director in the field of Automotive Engineering Consultancy. During this period, I actively forged relationships and coordinated projects of great success with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Stellantis Group, Podium Engineering, Dallara and many more customers.
Our Experience.
After taking a BA in Economics and working at Alfa Romeo in global sales, then in consulting, I decided to risk everything and set out to find my path as a rally car driver. With many fewer sponsors than needed, I still managed to race in various Italian and European races, up to the Rally of Sanremo 2007, where I won all GT categories with a Porsche Cayman Rally GT car, on first attempt.
